Delicious crispy shrimp toast inspired by Vietnamese flavors, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1/2 lb shrimp (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 lb imitation crab (finely minced)
  • 2 stalks green onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 stalks celery (finely diced)
  • 1/2 yellow onion yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 long French baguettes sliced baguettes

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Chop shrimp and crab separately in a food processor; set aside.
  • Mix shrimp, crab, green onion, onion, garlic, celery, mayonnaise, cheese, salt, and pepper until combined.
  • Slice baguettes diagonally, spread 1 tbsp of mixture on each slice.
  • Arrange on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
