Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line cake pans.
Mix dry ingredients. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and almond extracts. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk. Divide batter and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Cool cakes completely. Prepare buttercream by beating butter, then gradually adding powdered sugar, vanilla, almond extracts, salt, and milk until smooth.
Assemble cake: place one layer, spread frosting, add second layer, and frost top and sides. Decorate as desired.
