A hearty and cheesy turkey casserole with broccoli, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli florets

Main Protein

  • 3 cups shredded cooked turkey (1 pound)

Dairy & Oils

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 2 ½ cups shredded cheese (use your favorite cheese)

Seasonings

  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 395°F (200°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Sauté mushrooms, broccoli, and garlic in olive oil for 5 minutes.
  • Add turkey, salt, pepper, parsley, cheese, and heavy cream. Stir and simmer.
  • Transfer mixture to baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley, serve hot.
