A rich and comforting bread pudding featuring toasted coconut and pecans, perfect for a cozy dessert.

(preferably dried out overnight)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Toast pecans and coconut on a baking sheet until golden, about 5-10 minutes.
Mix toasted pecans, coconut, brown sugar, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon. Press half into a prepared pan.
Cube bread, prepare custard with milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Layer bread and topping in the pan, then pour custard over.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes until golden and set. Invert onto a plate and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, dry out the bread overnight and keep an eye on the toasting process to prevent burning.
