Ingredients

Wet ingredients

  • 1.5 cups milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup pure maple syrup

Dry ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned whole oats
  • 1 cup chopped peeled apple (generous)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Whisk milk, eggs, maple syrup, and applesauce in a bowl.
  • Mix oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt in another bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients; fold in chopped apples.
