A delicious and easy baked French toast with fresh berries, perfect for summer mornings or brunch.

brioche or challah bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
Berries

fresh mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
Eggs

whole milk

Instructions
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and layer half of the bread cubes.
Sprinkle half of the berries over the bread, then add remaining bread and berries.
Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon; pour over the layered bread and berries.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 45-55 minutes until golden and set. Rest for 10 minutes before serving with maple syrup.
Notes
Use fresh berries for the best flavor and serve with warm maple syrup.
