Ingredients

Dough and topping

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold and cut into 1/2-inch cubes)

Berry filling

  • 4 cups assorted berries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix berries with sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla; set aside.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, oats, and cold butter; cut in until crumbly.
  • Pour berry mixture into a skillet or baking dish and sprinkle crumble topping evenly over.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until topping is golden and filling is bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
