Ingredients
Batter
1cupunsalted butter, softened
2cupsfirmly packed brown sugar
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
4largeeggs
2.5cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking powder
¼teaspoonsalt
¾cupmilk
18 ouncepackage toffee bits(reserve ¼ cup for garnish)
½cupdark brown sugar, packed
½cupheavy whipping cream
1cupunsalted butter + 2 tablespoons
6cupspowdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line muffin pans with 30 liners.
Beat butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix dry ingredients and alternate adding with milk. Stir in toffee bits and fill cupcake liners two-thirds full.
Bake for 16-20 minutes, then cool. Prepare praline frosting by cooking brown sugar, cream, and butter until dissolved. Cool completely.
Beat remaining butter and cooled sugar mixture until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy. Frost cupcakes and garnish with toffee bits.
