A delicious and easy one-pan dish combining tender chicken, flavorful rice, and a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce.
Ingredients
Broth & Sauces

chicken broth (Swanson preferred)

dijon mustard (Grey Poupon preferred)

honey

garlic powder

chicken breasts
chicken breasts (pounded to an even 1-inch thickness)

long grain white rice

dried thyme

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
In a large ovenproof skillet, combine chicken broth, dijon mustard, honey, and thyme. Bring to a simmer.
Add rice to the skillet, stirring to coat. Place chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
Cover and bake for 35-40 minutes until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
