Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour the cake pan.
Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
Combine wet ingredients: sugar, eggs, oil, orange juice, coffee, orange zest, vanilla, and melted butter.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, then fold in melted chocolate.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes. Cool before frosting.
Notes
For extra orange flavor, add more zest or a splash of orange liqueur.
