Ingredients

Berry Mixture

  • 7 cups mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 1 lemon)
  • Pinch salt
  • 0.67 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.67 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

Vanilla ice cream

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch skillet.
  • Mix berries with sugar, flour, lemon juice, and salt; transfer to skillet.
  • Combine dry topping ingredients, add melted butter, and form crumbly clusters; sprinkle over berries.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake 15 minutes, then remove foil and bake 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  • Cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the topping.
