Batter
1cupall-purpose flour
½cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1cupsugar
½tspbaking powder
½tspbaking soda

½cuphot coffee (or hot water)

1 ½cupscherry pie filling or homemade

Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Prepare a pan with parchment and whisk dry ingredients.
Add wet ingredients and hot coffee; mix until smooth. Bake for 12–15 minutes, then cool.
Use a round cutter to make 12 circles. Whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Assemble each cake: place a chocolate circle, add whipped cream and cherry filling, then top with another circle and more whipped cream. Decorate with chocolate shavings and cherries.
