Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F) and prepare 6 mini loaf tins.
Cream butter and sugar until pale. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Fold in mashed bananas. Sift dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture, alternating with milk. Fold in optional nuts or chocolate.
Divide batter among tins, filling about 3/4 full. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in tins for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped walnuts or chocolate chips to the batter.
