1poundLaura's 92 Lean Ground Beef
0.5cupsweet peppers, diced mini peppers or bell peppers
3-4tablespoonswater
to tasteSalt
1headbutter lettuce, leaves separated
Optional toppings
1tablespoonchopped cilantro
2tablespoonssour cream
½cupshredded cheese
½cupdiced tomatoes
½cupdiced avocado
½cupsalsa
1tablespoonchili powder
½teaspooncayenne pepper
½teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspooncumin
Instructions
Mix taco seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Cook beef and onions in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add peppers and cook until tender.
Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of taco seasoning, add water, and stir. Season with salt if desired. Cook until hot and seasoned.
Place lettuce leaves on plates, spoon beef mixture into centers, and add optional toppings.
