Ingredients

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 baking pan.
Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans. Cut in butter until crumbly. Chill topping.
Combine apples, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla. Toss to coat.
Spread apple mixture in pan, sprinkle with topping. Bake 45-55 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Cool 10 minutes. Serve warm, optionally with low-fat vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Using cold butter helps create a flaky topping. Chill the topping before baking for best results.
