A fresh and flavorful pasta salad combining tender salmon, cherry tomatoes, and a zesty lemon pesto dressing, perfect for a light lunch or dinner.

Instructions
Cook the penne according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Season the salmon with salt and black pepper, then sear in a hot pan until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped red onion, and torn basil.
Flake the cooked salmon into the bowl, then add lemon juice, pesto, and grated parmesan. Toss gently to combine.
Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and black pepper to taste, and garnish with additional basil if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the salad chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
