8ouncespasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or linguine)

0.5cupchicken broth or pasta water
1lemonjuice of lemon
1teaspoonlemon zest
0.5teaspoonsalt

0.25cupParmesan cheese, grated
2tablespoonsfresh parsley, chopped
0.5cupcherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
1cupbaby spinach (optional)
0.25cupcapers (optional)
Instructions
Pat chicken dry, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Rest the chicken.
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and cook for 30 seconds. Add lemon juice, chicken broth, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; simmer 2 minutes.
Stir in cooked pasta, Parmesan, and toss to coat. Slice chicken and place on top. Garnish with parsley, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and capers if using.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or more lemon juice.
