Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch pan.
Mix half of the cake mix with melted butter and press into the pan as a base.
Spread lemon pie filling evenly over the base.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth; spread over lemon filling.
Sprinkle remaining cake mix on top and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and set.
Cool for 45 minutes, dust with powdered sugar if desired, then serve.
