Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, cook until browned, then remove.
Toast rice in the same skillet for 1 minute.
Pour in broth, barbecue sauce, and honey; stir to combine.
Return chicken, add vegetables and spices, simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Let sit covered for 5 minutes, then fluff rice and garnish with green onions.
Notes
Use fresh green onions for best flavor.
