Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound salmon fillets (preferably wild-caught)

Seasonings & Oils

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Vegetables & Fruits

  • 1 lime lime (sliced for serving)
  • 2 ripe avocados ripe avocados (diced)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes (quartered)
  • 1/4 cup red onion (finely diced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Season salmon with cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Grill salmon until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Prepare avocado salsa by mixing diced avocados, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice.
  • Warm tortillas and assemble tacos with salmon and avocado salsa, topping with cabbage, cheese, sour cream, and extra cilantro.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon with spices for 15 minutes before grilling.
