These delicious vegan and gluten-free fig energy balls are perfect for a quick, nutritious snack packed with natural sweetness and healthy fats.

Ingredients

Dried Figs

  • 1.5 cup dried figs (about 24 dried figs)

Nuts

  • 1 cup walnuts (can substitute with pecans or cashews)

Seeds

  • 3 tablespoons hemp seeds (can substitute with chia or flax seeds)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (pure vanilla)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch salt

Instructions 

  • Soak figs in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  • Pulse walnuts in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
  • Add vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and hemp seeds; pulse until combined.
  • Add drained figs and process until sticky dough forms.
  • Form mixture into balls and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
