Delight in these seasonal pumpkin pie bars with a maple pecan topping, perfect for fall gatherings.
Ingredients
Crust

all-purpose flour

unsalted butter, cold and cubed

brown sugar

pure maple syrup

Pumpkin Filling

pumpkin puree

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, sugar, salt; cut in butter until coarse. Press into 9x13 pan.
Bake crust for 15 minutes until golden. Toast pecans in a skillet for 3-5 minutes; set aside.
Whisk pumpkin, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt until smooth. Pour over crust, sprinkle pecans.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until set. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For cleaner slices, dip knife in warm water between cuts.
