Biscuit Topping

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare filling by combining mango, sugars, cornstarch, lemon juice, and ginger; set aside.
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla until just combined.
  • Pour mango filling into a baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit batter over the filling. Sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve warm.
