(reserve before draining pasta)
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef until browned; season with salt and pepper.
Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, then stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and reserved pasta water.
Mix in cooked pasta and spinach; cook until spinach wilts and sauce thickens.
Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream and cheese.
