This creamy beef pasta is a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner packed with protein and flavor.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 ounces Fettuccine Pasta (or your favorite pasta shape)

Meat

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef (or ground turkey or chicken)

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Cream

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (or reduced-fat cream)

Cheese

  • 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese (preferably freshly grated)

Garlic

  • 3 cloves Minced Fresh Garlic

Vegetables

  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Pasta Water

  • 1 cup Pasta Water (reserve before draining pasta)

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef until browned; season with salt and pepper.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, then stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and reserved pasta water.
  • Mix in cooked pasta and spinach; cook until spinach wilts and sauce thickens.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream and cheese.
