A simple and delicious apple cobbler perfect for cozy gatherings or a comforting dessert.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt butter in a 9x13 inch baking dish in the oven.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla to make batter. Pour over melted butter without mixing.
Distribute apple chunks and spoon in fruit over batter. Bake for 45 minutes until crust rises.
Let cool for 15 minutes. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional cinnamon before baking.
