Instructions
Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through.
Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, nutmeg, and Parmesan; simmer until thickened.
Stir in spinach until wilted, then add cooked pasta and toss to combine.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
