Enjoy a delicious and nutritious breakfast with these creamy overnight oats topped with fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

Oats

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Pinch salt

Instructions 

  • Mix oats, chia seeds (if using), and salt in a jar or bowl.
  • Add milk, yogurt, vanilla, and honey; stir well.
  • Gently fold in half of the sliced strawberries.
  • Seal and refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  • Stir oats in the morning and top with remaining strawberries. Add optional toppings if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, top with toasted almonds or coconut flakes.
