A rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring succulent shrimp in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

8ouncesspaghetti or linguine pasta
1poundlarge shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce
2tablespoonsolive oil
4tablespoonsunsalted butter, divided
5clovesgarlic, minced
1cupheavy cream
1cupParmesan cheese, grated
1/2teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes (optional)
to tasteSalt and freshly ground black pepper
2tablespoonsfresh parsley, chopped
1teaspoonItalian seasoning (optional)
For serving
as neededLemon wedges(for squeezing)
Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then cook until pink and golden, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter, and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if using, season with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta and shrimp, tossing to coat evenly.
Stir in chopped parsley, then serve immediately garnished with extra parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice just before serving.
