A rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender steak and a spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce, perfect for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • to taste to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning or more for extra spice
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta, cooked and drained

Garnish

  • Chopped parsley Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions 

  • Rub the steak with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, then rest and slice thinly.
  • Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and simmer. Whisk in Parmesan, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until coated. Plate the pasta, top with sliced steak, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Adjust Cajun seasoning for desired spice level and serve immediately.
