A hearty and comforting casserole combining ground beef, mushrooms, and rice in a creamy sauce, baked to perfection.
Ingredients

chopped mushrooms

onion (diced)

cream of mushroom soup

beef broth

sour cream

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch dish.
Brown ground beef in a skillet, add mushrooms and onion, cook until tender. Drain excess fat.
Mix beef, vegetables, rice, soup, broth, sour cream, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Pour into dish, cover with foil, and bake for 50-60 minutes until rice is tender.
Optional: uncover, sprinkle cheese, and bake 5 more minutes until melted.
Notes
For a cheesier topping, add more cheese or bake uncovered longer.
