Pasta of your choice
12ouncesPasta (e.g., penne or fettuccine)
Chicken
1poundboneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
Dairy and Broth
4tablespoonsunsalted butter
4clovesgarlic, minced
1mediumdiced onion
1cupheavy cream
1cupchicken broth
Cheese and Seasonings
1cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1tablespoonItalian seasoning
1teaspoonred pepper flakes
Salt and Pepper

Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Sauté chicken in 2 tablespoons of butter until golden and cooked through, then remove from skillet.
Add remaining butter, garlic, and onion to the skillet; cook until translucent. Pour in cream and broth, add seasonings, and simmer until slightly thickened.
Return chicken and pasta to the skillet, toss to coat, and cook for 2 minutes. Top with Parmesan and garnish with parsley if desired.
