Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch dish and prepare ingredients.
Mix brown sugar, pecans, and cinnamon for filling.
Cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
Whisk dry ingredients, then alternate adding flour and buttermilk into the creamed mixture, mixing just until combined.
Layer half of batter in pan, sprinkle with half filling, then repeat. Drizzle melted butter on top.
Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before serving.
Notes
For a crisp topping, sprinkle extra pecans on top before baking.
