Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place squash halves face down with water and bake for 40 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt butter and sauté onions and celery until soft. Add apples, cranberries, maple syrup, water, and cinnamon; cook until apples soften.
Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat. Fill baked squash with the apple mixture.
Return stuffed squash to oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until tender. Serve warm.
