Chilli and Lime Steak Salad Bowl

A vibrant and healthy steak salad bowl packed with fresh vegetables, black beans, and a zesty lime dressing.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 200-250 g steak (sliced into strips)

Dressing

  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • to taste salt
  • to taste cayenne pepper
  • to taste paprika
  • a splash sunflower oil

Vegetables

  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 onion onion (chopped)
  • 2 romaine lettuce romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1 cup baby tomatoes (halved)
  • 3/4 cup sweetcorn (cooked or microwaved)
  • 1 avocado avocado (sliced)
  • 1/4-1/2 red onion red onion (sliced)
  • 4 tbsp precooked black beans

Additional

  • 1 wedge lime
  • 2-3 tbsp sour cream or Greek yoghurt
  • a sprinkle feta cheese

Instructions 

  • Marinate steak strips with lime juice, salt, cayenne, paprika, and sunflower oil for 5-10 minutes.
  • Cook onions in oil, add steak and cook 5-7 minutes, then add red peppers and cook 3-5 minutes. Adjust seasoning.
  • Prepare vegetables: chop lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and red onion. Cook or microwave sweetcorn.
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl, add black beans, lime wedge, sour cream, and feta cheese. Serve.

Feel free to customize with your favorite toppings or adjust seasoning to taste.
