A creamy, cheesy chicken casserole that's easy to prepare and perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 lbs lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded or cubed

Dairy

  • 8 oz oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ml heavy cream
  • 2 cups g shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup g grated Parmesan cheese

Other

  • 4 cloves cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp tbsp butter, melted

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or skillet.
  • Mix cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Add cooked chicken and 1 1/2 cups cheddar, fold in Parmesan.
  • Transfer to dish, top with remaining cheddar, drizzle melted butter, and bake 20-25 mins until bubbly and golden.
  • Rest 5 mins, garnish with parsley, then serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle paprika or Italian seasoning on top before baking.
