A fun and portable way to enjoy classic cheeseburger flavors in a convenient jar, perfect for quick lunches or dinners.

Ingredients

Oil

  • 1 tsp avocado oil (or olive oil)

Ground Beef

  • 1-1/2 lbs extra-lean ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Red Onion

  • 1 red onion red onion (diced)

Pickles

  • 1/2 cup dill pickles (chopped)

Cherry Tomatoes

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes (diced)

Cheddar Cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Lettuce

  • 4 cups lettuce of choice (chopped)

Mayonnaise or Greek Yogurt

  • 1 cup homemade mayo or plain Greek yogurt

Tomato Passata or Ketchup

  • 3 Tbsps tomato puree (passata or ketchup)

Spices

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Jars

  • 4 x 28 oz wide mouth jars with lids

Instructions 

  • Cook beef in oil until browned, then cool.
  • Dice onion, tomatoes, chop lettuce, and prepare sauce by whisking sauce ingredients.
  • Divide sauce among jars, then layer with beef, onions, tomatoes, pickles, cheese, and lettuce.
  • Seal jars and refrigerate. Enjoy within 4-5 days.

Notes

Store in airtight jars for best freshness.
