Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place tart shell in pan, prick base, and sprinkle almond meal if using.
Peel, core, and slice apples; toss with lemon juice.
Arrange apples on the shell, sprinkle with sugar mixture, and drizzle with melted butter.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until apples are tender and crust is golden. Cool slightly, then pour caramel sauce over.
