Ingredients

Pasta

  • 1 pound bowtie farfalle pasta

Ground Beef

  • 1 pound ground beef

Cream Cheese

  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened

Milk or Half-and-Half

  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half

Parmesan Cheese

  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Butter

  • 2 tablespoons butter

Garlic

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Cajun Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning divided

Salt

  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste

Black Pepper

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Red Pepper Flakes

  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Pasta Water

  • 2 tablespoons reserved pasta water as needed

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ½ cup of water, then drain.
  • Cook ground beef with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until browned; set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then add cream cheese and stir until softened.
  • Whisk in milk, then add Parmesan and remaining Cajun seasoning; simmer until thickened.
  • Return beef to skillet, add pasta, toss, and adjust sauce with reserved pasta water if needed. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with chopped parsley or additional Parmesan.
