  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup cold, salted butter (cubed)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (reserve 1 Tbsp to brush tops)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Glaze

  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp heavy cream (plus additional as needed)
  • 0.5 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Toast pecans for 6 minutes, then cool.

  • Make glaze by mixing powdered sugar, cinnamon, cream, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm scones and sprinkle with remaining pecans.

Notes
