A flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring spicy blackened salmon served on grilled naan with fresh slaw and cilantro sauce.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound ALDI fresh Atlantic salmon ((1 to 2 pieces))

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch crushed red pepper flakes

Bread & Vegetables

  • 4 pieces Specially Selected Naan Breads
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 3 pieces mini seedless cucumbers ((sliced))
  • 0.33 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Specially Selected Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Cilantro Sauce

  • 0.5 cup fresh cilantro
  • 0.25 cup avocado
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Specially Selected Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)

Seasoning

  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat grill to 400-450°F (200-230°C).
  • Mix paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Season salmon.
  • Grill salmon 6-8 minutes until opaque. Rest 5 minutes.
  • Grill naan 1-2 minutes per side until warm and charred.
  • Assemble: top naan with slaw, flaked salmon, and cilantro sauce. Serve.
