A delicious and wholesome baked oatmeal packed with fresh or frozen berries, perfect for a nutritious breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet ingredients

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups mixed berries, fresh or frozen

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9 baking dish.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl; set aside.
  • Whisk wet ingredients in a small bowl; combine with dry mixture.
  • Pour batter into dish, scatter berries evenly, pressing slightly.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Cool slightly, then serve.

Notes

Use frozen berries directly or fresh for best results.
