  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne, spaghetti, or your choice)
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream or milk (optional) (for extra creaminess)
  • to taste Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • optional Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)
  • optional Red pepper flakes (for heat)

Instructions 

  • Melt butter in a large pot, cook ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, sauté 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in beef broth, add pasta, stir to submerge, bring to boil, then simmer 10-12 minutes until tender.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, add heavy cream or milk if desired, and mix until smooth.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Garnish with herbs and serve hot.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey, chicken, or sausage for the beef for variety.
