A delicious and easy-to-make flatbread topped with smoky BBQ chicken, cheese, and fresh cilantro for a flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 piece pre-made flatbread or naan
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 0.5 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a rack in the middle.
  • Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until coated.
  • Place flatbread on a baking sheet, spread chicken mixture evenly, leaving border.
  • Sprinkle cheese and scatter red onion slices on top.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Rest 1-2 minutes, garnish with cilantro, then slice and serve.

Notes

Keep an eye on the oven in the last few minutes to prevent burning.
