Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup quick cook oats
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 3 over ripe bananas mashed bananas
  • 1 cup butter, melted & cooled (2 sticks)
  • 2 eggs eggs

Glaze

  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 cup oats

Instructions 

  • Soak oats in milk for 5-10 minutes.
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder; add mashed bananas, eggs, and melted butter. Combine with soaked oats.
  • Fill donut pans 3/4 full and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes or in a mini-donut maker for 6-7 minutes.
  • Allow donuts to cool on a wire rack.
  • Mix confectioners sugar with milk and oats to make glaze; drizzle over cooled donuts.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
