A creamy and delicious smoothie combining ripe bananas, cocoa, and optional add-ins for a quick treat.

  • 1 large frozen banana
  • 3/4 cup milk (any type)
  • 1–2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter or yogurt (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions 

  • Pour milk into the blender.
  • Add banana, cocoa powder, nut butter or yogurt, sweetener, and vanilla.
  • Blend on low, then high until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  • Check consistency and add more milk if needed.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and creaminess.
