A quick and nutritious breakfast sandwich combining creamy avocado, a perfectly cooked egg, and cream cheese on toasted bagel halves.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 0.5 bagel bagel, sliced in half
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small avocado, peeled and pitted
  • to taste salt and ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons softened cream cheese

Instructions 

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Toast the bagel halves until golden brown.
  • Heat oil in a pan and cook the egg until set, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Mash the avocado in a bowl, season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread cream cheese on each bagel half, top with mashed avocado and egg. Season as desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add hot sauce or herbs.
