Instructions
Mix dry ingredients, cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Add buttermilk and vanilla, then fold in apples. Pat into circle, cut into wedges.
Freeze for 10 minutes, then brush with buttermilk and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar.
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12-16 minutes until golden.
Mix cider, cinnamon, and powdered sugar to make glaze. Drizzle over cooled scones.
Notes
