Instructions
Slice apples evenly and toss with lemon juice. Mix sugars, flour, cornstarch, spices, salt, and vanilla; let sit 10 mins.
Fit pie crust into dish and chill for 15 mins. Fill with apple mixture, pouring juices over top.
Combine topping ingredients with cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 55-65 mins until golden and bubbling. Cool for 2 hours before slicing.
Notes
Chilling the crust helps it hold shape during baking.
