Instructions
Saute apples: melt 1 tbsp butter, add 1 tbsp brown sugar, apples, and cinnamon; cook 5-7 mins. Cool.
Mix dry ingredients: whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
Prepare cinnamon filling: combine brown sugar, cinnamon, flour.
Make batter: beat butter, sugars; add eggs and vanilla; mix in sour cream and milk; incorporate dry ingredients.
Assemble: spread half batter in pan, add cinnamon filling, apples, then remaining batter; top with streusel.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 55-70 mins until golden and a tester comes out clean. Cool 45 mins before serving.

Ensure apples are diced small for even cooking and layering.
